Privacy policy

Your birth details

Your date, time and place of birth are used to calculate your chart in your own browser and are stored only on your device (in your browser's local storage), so your chart is there when you come back. They are not sent to our servers. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Place search

When you type a town into the place field, the text you type is sent to our server to find matching places. We do not store these searches or link them to you.

Your email address

If you give us your email address, for example to hear when the full reading is ready, we store it to send you what you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to delete your address, by writing to hello@thebirthsky.com.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used (which pages are visited and which features are used) to improve it. We do this without advertising cookies and without selling or sharing data for advertising.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@thebirthsky.com.
